Temporal changes in hematologic values of cockatiel blood

Avian hematologic characteristics complicate evaluation; therefore, complete blood cell counts require manual analysis for best accuracy. Furthermore, the quality of samples may be affected by prolonged shipment. The objective of this study was to determine the temporal changes in hematologic values of cockatiel blood over a clinically relevant time period.
